Milton Hall Primary School

‘Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it.’

Our aim is to make every child feel valued and happy because that is when learning is most effective.

Literacy is the ability to read, view, write, design, speak and listen in a way that allows you to communicate effectively.

At Milton Hall, our aim is to have every child leaving school with the skills they need to continue their education at secondary school and set them up for future training and employment.

Literacy is taught daily, and skills such as reading, writing, speaking and listening are all covered.  Homework is set on a weekly basis and we encourage reading throughout the week.

On this page, you will find further information on what is taught throughout the school, but also some additional advice and support.
