‘Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it.’

Welcome

Our aim is to make every child feel valued and happy because that is when learning is most effective.

Week 10 22.6.2020

Hi everyone,

We hope you are all happy and smiling…

Talking of smiling, since starting back in nursery and seeing the children again, we have all been doing lots of smiling. It has been so lovely to see the children enjoy being with their friends and teachers, the laughter has been infectious!

We found this lovely poem about smiling which we would like to share with you…

A SMILE…

A smile is quite a funny thing,

It wrinkles up your face.

And when it’s gone you’ll never find

It’s secret hiding place.

But far more wonderful it is

To see what smiles can do.

You smile at one,

He smiles at you,

And so one smile makes two….

We’ve been wondering what has been making you smile this week? Please let us know your thoughts.

Mrs Parker and I have been thinking about our sound of the week - ‘Ll’.  We found lots of funny stories about Lions, Leopards and Lemurs that we will be enjoying this week. We’ve especially enjoyed the one, ‘There’s a Lion in my Cornflakes!’…

We wondered what you would like to find in your cereal packet? What a surprise it would be! We’d love to hear your ideas, don’t forget to email us on the links below!

We’ve included lots of fun activities all about Lions and other jungle animals such as Lemurs for you to enjoy with your families. Perhaps you could find out some amazing facts about your favourite jungle animals.

Take care,

Love, Mrs Lister and Mrs Parker.

We’d love to see what you have been up to….
