Hello Year 3!

How has your week been?  Have you been joining in the  singing assemblies on Friday morning?  Its great to see Mr Buxton and Mr Spence singing along to our favourite tunes.

We hope you are all still reading lots and lots whether it is the books on Epic, your own books or the AR books.  There are also loads and loads of online books being read by famous people so check them out too if you haven’t already.  Here’s is one suggestion: https://www.storylineonline.net/library/

I am sure you are aware that there have been lots of events going on in the news too.  Check out Newsround to keep up to date with current news and events https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround.

The learning activities are particularly good this week as we have an “exclusive” poem just for Milton Hall Year 3 – have a look at the link on Monday’s English timetable for more details.  In Maths we are starting to look at “time” and we are continuing to look at the life of Ancient Egyptians; so lots of fun stuff!  Don’t let the timetable limit you though…if there is anything that particularly takes your interest, go and find out more about it and let your teachers know.

We have been receiving some lovely messages from some of you so thank you so so much.  Please continue to share your work with your teachers so they can celebrate what you have been doing at home.

Have another good week.  Stay positive.  Be kind.  Keep washing your hands.

Mrs Ablethorpe, Mrs Hautler and Miss Riley
