EHFSA stands for Early Help Family Support Assessment.  These are completed when there may be an issue with health (such as a referral to speech and language therapy or mental health assessment), housing, young carers, youth offending, universal services, TACAF, child online exploitation, family support or emerging needs.  These are submitted to the local authority with parent's signed consent.  Often the SENCO or DSL will contact you to go through the referral - you will need yours and any other adults in the household's national insurance number to hand.
