In Raleigh class are really proud of where we live. So here is our promotional video showing all the great things about Southend on Sea.

Trip to Wat Tyler Country Park

 

We had a wonderful trip to Wat Tyler Country park to learn about plants and animals.  We hunted and identified minibeasts in their different habitats and enjoyed pond dipping and finding newts (among other animals).  We learnt a lot about butterflies and moths, exoskeletons, invertebrates and many other things and above all else we had fun and created memories.  Thank you for your support with the trip and to all those parents who helped on the day.

Circle of life

You may have seen the circle of life done before on a low budget. This is our version on zero budget. Enjoy :)

For Science!

 

We have been investigating how different materials affect a toy car as it moves. We tested out theories by making a ramp and seeing how far the car traveled. 

Why the Aliens Crashed

It was a very exciting day today as an alien spacecraft crash landed in the middle of the infant playground. Here in Raleigh Class we have been discussing how and why that could have happened. Here are some of our theories.
